International conference “Real Estate 2014”

Annual international conference “Real Estate 2014. Updates from the real estate market – UNADORNED” offered an exciting and intensive programme, analysing the latest developments in the economy as well as in commercial and business real estate market. An important part of the programme was governmental real estate strategy which focused on finding answers to the question: what type of real estate does the country need? Other major topics of interest were construction and investments.

The conference had 28 speakers, all highly recognized in their field. The opening words came from minister of economics and communications Urve Palo and keynote speakers were Colliers Managing Director of Retail Agency in Eastern Europe Sean Briggs, SEB Bank economics analyst Ruta Arumäe and KPMG Baltics head of payment services Joel Zernask.

Real estate associations also announced the winner of the 12th “Real Estate Guru” award – an award aimed at recognizing persons or organizations who have positively influenced the development of Estonian real estate market. This year’s winner was EfTEN Capital AS for their contribution to Estonian business real estate sector.
